Fish are often considered rather unappealing pets. They just flit around in a fish tank, eat, and poop. Such is the case with Debbie’s little balloon molly. The bright yellow and black fish comes when she calls it and greets her like a happy dog. The little fish is like an underwater puppy with an excessive amount of energy.
Surprisingly, one of the fish most known for interacting with humans is the pufferfish. We’ve seen lots of evidence of interaction, like Yam, who hides like a pro until his human shows up to play. Gilbert, a quirky topaz pufferfish, becomes a fashion model when the camera comes out. These small fish are gaining popularity for home aquariums due to their endearing personalities.
When Debbie plays with her fish, the family dog greets her with a bit of green jealousy. The poor dog probably feels left out as Debbie interacts with the fish.
Did you catch that sad puppy face? (Engage sarcasm font here) That poor dog must be seriously neglected as Debbie plays with the fish she finally named Hope. Some of the commenters on the first video were concerned and offered lots of pointers for Debbie to be a better fish mom.
She is working toward finding Hope a playmate she doesn’t try to eat. She is also in a new, bigger tank, with more things to stimulate her. Hope’s personality is continuing to develop. The fish actually threw a bit of a temper tantrum when Debbie cleaned her tank.
