The internet has crowned a new Grumpy Cat.

A Facebook post has been making its rounds since April 14. It shows a firefighter who had just saved a cat who was stuck in a home in Lancashire, U.K. The rescuer posed with his damsel in distress, and the cat gave a “curious” face.
“Between a wall and a hard place – literally!” reads the post.
“Our crews from Preston safely rescued this curious cat from their tight squeeze earlier this week,” it continued. “They found themselves stuck between two walls and our firefighters carefully [chiseled] them out safe and sound. Cats always like to keep us on our toes.”
New Grumpy Cat Is “Not Thankful At All”
While the heroic move was something to celebrate, people couldn’t get over an aspect of the picture—the cat’s face. While the feline was perfectly unharmed, it looked hilariously annoyed about its rescue.
The face was quite similar to the one that made the original Grumpy Cat an internet star. Even the animal’s coloring was akin to the OG Grumpy.
“It’s defo from the #grumpycat family but well done,” someone commented under the post.
“The level of grump on this lil fluffy mcmurder mittens face is epic,” joked another.
“Cat is fuming, now plotting death because of the rescue. Sleep with one eye open,” a commenter warned.
“That cat’s face is cracking me up,” someone else laughed, “does not look thankful at all.”
Grumpy Cat, whose real name was Tardar Sauce, became a sensation after his displeased face went viral on Reddit in 2012. He gained 1 million views in only two days, which led to movie deals, talk show appearances, and even a cameo in Broadway’s Cats.
The real Grumpy Cat passed away in 2019 at the age of 7.
