Farmer Shares Precious Moments With Particularly Cuddly Lamb

Images show cuddly lamb Alex who falls asleep in his owner's arms.

In New Zealand, raising sheep is common on livestock farms. The Crispy Crew made their mark on TikTok with Leicester J, the Mullet King. Famous for sporting a brightly-colored mullet, Leicester sadly passed away in October 2023. Farm life continues, and new stars have risen to fill the gap. Among them is the sleepiest little lamb on the crew. Alex is a cuddly lamb who falls asleep whenever a human holds him.

Most cuddly lambs grow out of the behavior of “contact napping” within a few days. Not Alex. This little ram is over three months old and still falls asleep on his human. Of course, Alex doesn’t spend all his time napping. Like any little lamb, he spends a good amount of time running and playing.

Lambing season has always been a favorite time for sheep farmers. The little tykes roam happily, jumping and bouncing. Countless laughs happen as they prance about in perpetual play mode. They grow quickly, though, and it is time to say goodbye. We aren’t sure what the Chrispy Crew does with its sheep. They might go off to other farms for use for wool production.

Some of their animals head off to livestock competitions and shows. They also raise pigs on the farm, which means newborn piglets. When Ryland was a cuddly little lamb, he had five adoring piglets following him everywhere he went.

Lambs can get into mischief. We didn’t know it was a fairly common occurrence when we told you about this little tyke getting stuck in a hole. This cuddly little Chrispy Crew lamb also got lost in a hole in an almost identical scene. They are rambunctious!

Please share these cute, cuddly lambs.
