The moment a mom or dad thinks they can relax, a toddler sees it as a sign of weakness and immediately gets themselves into mischief. Yefri Gutierrez Gamez took his family out for ice cream in Madison Wisconsin on April 23, 2026. He thought it would be a good time until he saw his 2-year-old son, Lohan Gael Gutierrez, trapped inside a claw machine. Thakfully, they got him out, but not without the help of professionals.

The Child Was Completely Inside the Claw Machine
Video of the ordeal shows Lohan screaming in the claw machine. He almost looks like an animal at the zoo behind glass. It’s both sad and hilarious at the same time.
“We had never ever noticed that before. Children are always a little restless, but this was the occasion and it happened and I felt a little scared,” Yefri told WISC-TV in Spanish.
The dad added that even though they’d been to the shop before, the claw machine was new to the family.

The fire department showed up and rescued the little guy, who was shaken up, but otherwise OK. We’re not sure who was more scared, Lohan or Yefri. Thankfully Yefrir caught the entire rescue mission on camera so they can all enjoy a good laugh in a decade or two. This one will be family lore for generations.
