Once upon a time, Kelsey Turnquist was a blushing bride. A bride requires a groom, and Parker Ray filled that role. The happy couple sealed the deal on May 31, 2021. A pregnancy is always more fun when there is a dog in the house. However, Parker is concerned that the dog will not leave his pregnant wife. He thinks the dog is broken and is trying to come between him and Kelsey. Mabel Lou has been exhibiting odd behaviors since Kelsey got pregnant.
Parker continued being concerned despite the assurance that he was just paranoid. He was told he was just being dramatic, but he couldn’t shake the feeling that something was… different. Mabel Lou seemed overly attentive and almost possessive of Kelsey.
There was definitely a change in the air. Mabel Lou was always Parker’s shadow. Wherever Daddy went, she was sure to follow. But that shifted, and his dog began ignoring him when his wife became pregnant.
Experts say that dogs can sense a pregnant woman’s hormones. Based on Parker’s experience with Mabel Lou, this is most likely why he noticed the alliance shift. It could also be that the dog is hanging with his pregnant wife because she is looking forward to being a big sister.
Parker should be fine as long as he keeps caring for his pregnant wife and their dog.
