Can you believe there’s a new winner on The Voice? There’s no doubt this season is one of the most exciting. In fact, this season has the most four-chair turns in the history of the show! It’s no wonder, then, when the competition was narrowed down to five talented singers, no one had any idea who was going to be crowned the season 24 winner of The Voice. In just three months, we’ve watched the top five artists grow so much.
In case you missed it, here’s who all made it to the top five: Huntley, Jacquie Roar, Lila Forde, Mara Justine, and Ruby Leigh. Each coach had encouraging words to share with each remaining contestant, no matter if they were on their team or not.
“The talent this year has just been, like, across the board — all of our teams are pretty insane,” Niall shares. “The voices that I have this year are just, like, some of the best singers I’ve ever heard.”
As the competition came to a close, the final five quickly became the final two with only Ruby and Huntley, both fan-favorites, left.
The Season 24 Winner of The Voice is…
Ruby, at only 16 years old, has made quite a name for herself. With Reba McEntire as her coach, she’s delivered some of the most memorable performances, including one of her coach’s own hit songs, You Lie.
Then there’s Huntley, the dad who let his little girl help him choose his coach. They ended up going with Niall Horan who, ultimately, gave him the exact support he needed. In doing so, Huntley perfected what he calls his Southern blues rock ‘n’ roll style with renditions of songs like With a Little Help From My Friends by Joe Cocker.
As incredible as they both are, ultimately, there can only be one winner. And that person is… Huntley! This beloved artist’s face when his name is announced is absolutely priceless — you can truly tell how much this moment means to him!
“Huntley’s got such an individual tone in his voice,” Horan says. “He’s a machine on stage, an unbelievable performer. Not many voices are like his, and there’s a real spot for him in our industry.”
