Driver Captures Insane Footage Of Stealth Aircraft Landing In Plain Sight

If you live in a larger city, odds are, you are quite accustomed to spotting airplanes in the sky. That said, none are ever quite like this — at least not usually. In Queensland, Australia, a man just so happened to be at the right place at the right time to spot a stealth plane as it started to land. Although you have likely never seen one in person before, the design is probably familiar.

This type of aircraft is a B-2, and its origins go back to the Cold War era. It was made to be ultra stealthy, allowing it to be super hard to detect. This aircraft was so good at remaining stealthy, in fact, that the general public didn’t know of its existence for quite some time. Even then, it is still highly rare to see it flying like this. Check it out in the video below.

Australian Man Captures Rare Footage of a B-2 Stealth Plane As it Starts to Land

While it’s uncommon to spot this aircraft in public, its unique design has become quite popular. The style can be seen in pop culture, including movies. In real life, however, there are very few B-2 stealth planes. In fact, there are only 20 of them operating in the United States, making them especially rare. It’s no wonder, then, that folks find this man’s footage to be so exciting!

“Imagine how many people thought that was a UFO the first time they saw it,” someone points out in the comment section of the video, with another adding, “Probably the coolest B2 footage I’ve seen.”

“There are more astronauts than B2 pilots,” a third person adds highlighting its rarity, “and each aircraft costs 2 billion to make.”
