Her dying wish was to meet Jelly Roll in person, and for Christmas, her dream came true.
Sharon Brown’s daughter and granddaughter know how much Jelly Roll means to her. They got her fitted with Jelly Roll sweatshirts and decked out her house with posters. In fact, the trio is even set to get tattoos in the country star’s honor!
But when the star came to town for a benefit concert, Sharon’s girls knew they could make an attempt to make her dream come true.
Melissa, Sharon’s daughter, decided to take a chance and tell Sharon’s story to one of the workers at the benefit concert.
“She had an aneurysm which caused early-onset dementia. She also has renal failure, and she has chosen not to do dialysis. It’s a lot. It’s a lot for her,” said Melissa about her mom’s condition.
The staff at the Jelly Roll Benefit was overwhelmed with compassion for Sharon and they got to work organizing a meet-up.
After the concert, Sharon and her family landed in a room, ready to meet the star himself! Obviously, he showered Sharon with kindness.
“He made me feel like I was so special,” Sharon said about the event.
While it’s not every day you get to meet the star of your dreams, Sharon’s dying wish came true. What a blessing!
