When it comes to the music industry, Dolly Parton and country are practically synonymous. After all, she is the queen.
But the legendary singer’s talent is by no means limited to one genre. Over the course of her incredibly successful career, she’s collaborated with many different artists. And now her voice is even gracing the electronic dance music world.

Parton teamed up with Galantis, a Swedish electronic dance duo, to create a beautiful remix of John Hiatt’s “Faith.” Together with Mr. Probz, they transformed the 1987 ballad into a hit that could get anyone on their feet!
Released on October 25, the music video features a diverse group of people who start out looking bored and uncomfortable on a bus. But when the music sounds, they all start smiling and dancing, united by the uplifting beat.

The dancers exit the bus and continue their joyful celebration in a grassy field, where Christian Karlsson and Linus Eklöw of Galantis can be seen dancing on top of the bus.

That’s when the queen makes her grand entrance! The bus doors open, revealing Parton as the most glamorous bus driver ever in a rhinestone outfit and conductor hat.

As she joins the dance, it’s clear Parton is having a blast – which was her goal all along.
“This world is just so dark and ugly and awful,” she said at a press conference. “So I’m going to make it my business to try to do songs that are more uplifting … songs about better things. Do better and have a little more love, a little more light.”
That beautiful message certainly shines through in these talented musicians’ song. Shortly after it was uploaded to YouTube, the comments section flooded with positivity. One person called it the “collab I didn’t know I needed but deserved.” Another wrote, “This song made my day.”

What a delightful remake! But we wouldn’t expect any less from such amazing artists.
