Dolly Parton is reminding her fans that she’s still got sparkle as she leaves a difficult year behind her and embraces what’s to come.

The Queen of Nashville had an extremely tough 2025. On March 3, her husband of nearly 60 years passed away from unknown causes. Then in September, Dolly announced that she was postponing her Las Vegas concerts because of “health challenges.”
Fortunately, Dolly was not seriously ill, but she admitted that she’d stopped priotizing her wellness, and it caught up with her.
“I’m OK,” she shared in an October Instagram video. “I’ve got some problems, as I mentioned. Back when my husband Carl was very sick — that was for a long time. And then, when he passed, I didn’t take care of myself. So, I let a lot of things go that I should have been taking care of.”
Dolly Parton Is Coming Into 2026 With “Sparkle”
Despite everything Dolly Parton has gone through, she’s going into 2026 with positivity, grace, and “sparkle.”
In a recent Instagram post, the 79-year-old posed in a gorgeous white gown and gave us her signature contagious smile.
“New year, some sparkle,” she captioned.
“Fabulous sparkle too 🤍,” a fan commented.
“Gorgeous ❤️ Happy 2026 dear Dolly,” wrote another.
“Your sparkle will never dull!✨💕,” someone else gushed.
We’re thrilled to see Dolly Parton looking so vibrant and healthy after so much heartache. We can’t wait to see what she does in 2026!
