Dog Mom Asks Groomer For Photo Of How Her Dog’s Bath Is Going, Groomer Obliges Perfectly

Image shows a corgi who is about to see the dog groomer.

Oonee is a corgi with a personality much larger than her squat frame. Her mom calls her Chief Floof Officer. Because she is a little ball of energy, Oonee must occasionally go to the dog groomer. Worried about how she would react, her mom asked the groomer to send pictures of her progress. The groomer not only complied with the request, but they went above and beyond.

The first picture is the obligatory “before” shot. A dry Oonee sitting patiently, posing very nicely and almost seeming to smile for the camera. After that, there were no rules. The dog groomer snapped picture after picture of the happy little corgi.

The first was just a wet dog, pre-rinsed and ready for soap. The dog groomer had placed a small rubber duck on Oonee’s head for humorous effect. The pup, with her eyes squeezed tightly shut, looked almost as if her whole world was crashing around her.

The next two pictures were even more hilarious. In one, Oonee seemed to be smiling through gritted teeth, and you can almost hear her thinking, “This is fine.” After that, she seems resigned to her fate and is posing nicely in her wet glory.

If the dog groomer sent pictures of the completed grooming, Oonee’s owner didn’t include them. Judging by how cute Oonee was going into the grooming session, we can’t imagine her coming out looking any less dashing.

No one would expect less of a Guinness World Record holder!

Oonee participated in setting the Singapore record for the largest gathering of corgis. There were 170 smiling corgis at the gathering on August 9, 2025. Congratulations to the winners of this prestigious award!
