Secret Santa Surprises 65-Yr-Old McDonald’s Employee With A New Car And $5,000.

‘Tis the season for generosity, and one kind soul in Idaho is taking that directive seriously by giving away over $500,000 to people in his community. Even more impressive, this Secret Santa has chosen to remain anonymous!

He teamed up with East Idaho News, who agreed to act as his elf helpers. The cheery news station recently headed out to surprise a deserving 65-year-old McDonald’s employee with a gift of her own, and her reaction is sweet enough to touch anyone’s heart!

Diana Boldman works full time at McDonald’s. She would love to retire in the next few years, but her job supports her and her husband Cameron, who has a disability and relies on Diana’s help. On top of her position at McDonald’s, she and Cameron hop in their van every morning and deliver newspapers across a wide area.

All of this work is hard on her – and her van, which had about 240,000 miles on it. When her Secret Santa found out that she needed a reliable vehicle to get her to and from McDonald’s and her paper route, he decided to gift her with a $1,000 check, $5,000 in gas cards, and a brand new car!

When Diana saw the gifts, she was completely blown away and her eyes welled up with tears. Of course, since she’s had her van for so long, she also needed some help learning how to use the key fob for her new ride. But now she is driving in style – and feeling the holiday spirit!

We all need a helping hand every now and then! We’re so glad this Secret Santa found someone as wonderful as Diana to shower with a little extra love!

Watch her adorable reaction to her gifts in the video below, and share the Christmas cheer with your friends.
