For Anne Hathaway, being beautiful isn’t just about the way you look. It’s about how you feel and how you make others feel. She told People that one of the things she finds most beautiful about her friends is their sense of humor.
“I love to laugh, and I love people who look for the joke in a situation. You want people that you can celebrate the ups with, and you want people that you can laugh through the downs with. I also look for people who are discreet. I’m a vault. You know what else I appreciate about a friend? Someone who will tell you when you have a poppy seed in your teeth,” Anne Hathaway said.
She added that she’s totally comfortable with aging and who she is. Anne Hathaway embraces it all.
“Somebody told me that, at a certain point, especially if you’re a naturally expressive person, which I am, you have to be aware that what feels normal to you is going to look exaggerated on a red carpet,” she explained. “And if people are taking photos, you might not be happy with the photos. So just be aware of your calm. Be aware of your stillness.”
