Dave Grohl Writes Epic Theme Song For 10-Yr-Old Who Beat Him In Drum Battle.

Nandi Bushell is kind of a big deal. Not only has she gone viral several times for her amazing drumming skills, but she has also dared a legendary musician to battle her – and won!

The 10-year-old recently reached out to Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters to challenge him to a drum-off. In a video she posted online, she played the band’s song “Everlong” before passing the torch, and Grohl was more than happy to take her up on it!

He responded with a video of himself playing Them Crooked Vultures’ “Dead End Friends.”

While his version was good, the daring 10-year-old took it to a whole new level by playing the same song… and matching his every move!

Once he’d seen her rocking out, Grohl had to admit defeat. But the game wasn’t over yet!

Instead of playing a cover in round two, he came up with a special surprise. Before he started, he claimed it was something he’d “never heard before” because he was making it all up.

It quickly became clear that he had actually planned an incredible surprise for his biggest fan!

With his three daughters, “The Grohlettes,” singing backup, Grohl performed the song he’d written just for Nandi! When he shared it on Twitter, he added a special message for her: “Every superhero needs a theme song. Here’s one for you!”

Some of the lyrics include, “She’s got the power/She got the soul/Gonna save the world with her rock and roll!”

Nandi shared her reaction on her YouTube channel, and it’s enough to warm our hearts! She was starstruck, to say the least, and how could she not be? This was a dream come true!

What an unforgettable drum battle! Nandi is obviously on her way to a successful musical career, and we can’t wait to cheer her on.

Check out the song Grohl wrote for his biggest fan in the video below, and remember to share this story with your friends.
