“25 years ago my parents packed 2 suitcases and moved us across the world so that I could have opportunities that they were not afforded,” Nilou wrote in her video. “Today I got to take them to Costco to see my brand in store. This is what it’s all about.”
Nilou’s parents had the sweetest reactions to seeing their daughter’s overnight oats brand, ONO, available on Costco shelves. They had the biggest smiles on their faces when the woman pointed out her product. Right away, Dad started pulling boxes off the display and putting them in his shopping cart.
“Good stuff,” he said proudly.
This heartwarming video has received over two million views on social media. Commenters thought it was way too cute that Nilou’s father was so excited to buy his daughter’s overnight oats at Costco!

“I love that your dad immediately grabbed two boxes to buy,” wrote one user.
Another added, “The fact that your dad is paying retail prices to support you and not asking for a discount. Such proud parents! I love it!”
It clearly meant so much to these parents to see their daughter’s amazing achievement, especially after everything they’d given up for her sake. We hope Nilou’s overnight oats brand continues to thrive!
