Cuteness Overload: Teeny-Tiny Kitten Snoozes Atop Guitar While Mom Sings

Images show a tiny kitten relaxing on his mom's guitar as she plays.

Kittens seem to love music. That includes Joel, a tiny orange tabby kitten that is taking the internet by storm. TikTok user Zaunbrecher, who posts Joel videos, even changed their tagline to, “At this point yall are just here for Joel.” While that might be mostly true, this young person is also a very talented guitar player, and she’s only 14 years old. Her little kitten Joel is right at home on her guitar.

Joel is one of five tiny kittens that were given to a family in need of rodent inspectors for their barn. Zaunbrecher chose Joel to be the one “inside” cat that her mom is allowing. All five are currently in a safe room because they left their mom a little too early.

They are looking for a name for the little black one, requesting only “unserious names.” Fans of the now-famous Joel have suggested hundreds of names, but the most frequent suggestion is Tommy. Tommy and Joel are characters from the popular series The Last of Us. That is fitting because Zaunbrecher resembles the character Ellie from the TV adaptation, played by actress Bella Ramsey.

We’ve done similar stories, like this tiny kitten nestled in the curve of her Dad’s guitar. It’s always adorable, and each one adds another level of cuteness. This little guy is smaller than most kittens. His blonde is the perfect opposite of the dark mahogany of Zaunbrecher’s guitar. The gentle vibrations of the guitar’s body have worked their magic.

Several videos are already available on TikTok, and we expect more to follow. If you want to watch little Joel grow up, please follow Zaunbrecher on TikTok. They already know you’re just there for Joel.
