Sometimes, what goes around really does come around! A volunteer crossing guard named James Douglas once rescued a student who almost walked into a moving vehicle. The boy had been on his phone at the time. Several years later, the young man returned to say thank you in a very special way, which he recorded on video.
“You are a hero to me,” he told the crossing guard.
Next, the young man revealed that the community had been raising money for James’s son, who had cancer. Another man, who had been hiding in the background, presented the dad with a massive check for $10K. The incredible gesture brought him to tears!
