Cracker Barrel Goes Back To Its Roots In New Video

Cracker Barrel

Cracker Barrel recently scrapped its new logo and cancelled all plans to remodel stores. The public outcry to keep Cracker Barrel’s nostalgic charm could be heard around the country. At first, executives seemed to think that people might eventually warm up to a new look, but they eventually admitted defeat. On September 9, they announced the Cracker Barrel we know and love is staying the same.

“With our recent announcement that our ‘Old Timer’ logo will remain, along with our bigger focus in the kitchen and on your plate, we hope that today’s step reinforces that we hear you,” they shared on X.

Cracker Barrel Posted Video Showing Its Return

On September 15, Cracker Barrel posted a video to Instagram showing workers stripping a newly remodeled restaurant of the new logo and décor.

“Like any good relationship, sometimes you just need a little tune-up. We’re going back to the things that made us all fall in love in the first place,” it captioned the video.

The news made many people happy.

“The only company I’ve seen actually take accountability and listen to their customers fully,” a fan shared.

Others noted that Cracker Barrel’s experience should serve as a learning opportunity for businesses.

“This has to be one of the most iconic lesson experiences in the world of advertising and marketing. For sure, this will go in the books,” someone shared. “Thank you for listening!”

“Traditions are rooted in our memories! Thanks for helping us hold on to some great American memories that we made with you,” another person wrote.

One Instagrammer recommended that next time Cracker Barrel decides to make a change, they might want to ask their customers what they think in advance.

“I would say next time use social media to poll the audience,” they suggested.
