Country Superstar Announces Special Plan for Final Show

Alan Jackson Final Show

Alan Jackson is one of those artists who we never thought would retire. It just feels like his music has been the soundtrack of our entire lives, and not being able to see him in concert feels strange. But, alas, all good things come to an end, and performers want to enjoy those twilight years in retirement just like the rest of us. Alan Jackson also has some health issues, so winding down was the right choice for him. NBC announced huge plans for Alan Jackson’s final show, and it’s something we can all be a part of.

Alan Jackson Will Play His Final Show in Nashville

The concert will take place at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium on June 27, 2026. The show sold out long ago, but that doesn’t mean we can’t see Alan in concert. Alan Jackson: The Last Show will air in primetime on NBC later this year and stream on Peacock.  The show will spotlight Alan’s incredible career, featuring some of his favorite hits, including Chattahoochee, Remember When, and Gone Country.

During his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2017, Alan Jackson made a beautiful speech about his love of the music and his fans.

“I just love real country music,” Alan explained. “And George Jones, he told me that the first time I met him. [He said] ‘Keep it country,’ and that stuck with me. And I would have done it anyway, but it just meant so much coming from him. And I just hope that there’s going to be some young people coming along that will really care about it as much as I have and try to keep it alive. It’s going to be hard today. You know, you won’t hear it on the radio probably anymore, but there’s still a lot of people out there, young and old, that want to hear what I call real country music.”
