Collier Cash Rule is only 10 but he thinks he’s already hit everything on his bucket list, thanks to one epic night at the Spring Center in Kansas City.

Just a few days ago, the young boy, who’s only been playing the guitar for two years, was called up on stage by none other than Dave Grohl, lead singer for the Foo Fighters. That’s when he was given a guitar and offered the chance to play for 15,000 screaming fans.

When the fifth-grader arrived at the concert that night, he surely had no clue he’d end up face to face with Foo Fighters founder and frontman Dave Grohl.

But that’s exactly what happened. He was brought up on stage and Grohl asked what songs he knew. You’d think he would respond with Foo Fighters music but Collier brazenly said Metallica. Grohl told him to hit it and Collier jumped right in, playing “Enter Sandman,” Grohl singing the lyrics, and Taylor Hawkins accompanying on the drums!

They just did one verse and the chorus before stopping, but Grohl wasn’t ready to let the pint-sized guitarist go just yet. He invited young Collier to show off more of his budding skills, so he played the opening notes of both “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)”and “Wherever I May Roam.â€

Collier was up there for a good five minutes, but to the starstruck young fan, his premiere performance probably felt like just a split second. Before he left the stage, though, Grohl looked down at Collier and casually said, “You wanna keep that?” pointed to the Pelham Blue Gibson guitar he’d loaned to the 10-year-old.

Collier looked at him in disbelief, but Grohl doubled-down and nonchalantly said that the tour was ending, so why not?

Collier walked off the stage with an epic experience and a rock great’s guitar! Naturally, the video went viral, and when Metallica caught wind of the incident, they, too posted about it the following day, cheering Collier on: “Show ’em how it’s done.”

“Metallica knows who I am, the Foo Fighters know who I am, Dave Grohl gave me a guitar, I’ve played at the Sprint Center,”he said after Saturday’s concert at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. “I think my bucket list is done.â€
