When a small coffee shop, Local Patriot Roasting Company, rolled out the red carpet, the results were hilarious. While the rollout was met with confusion by some patrons, others took the opportunity to “let it all out!”
On its Instagram page, the small business advertises itself as “More than a coffee shop.” The Kannapolis, North Carolina shop was founded by a “woman-patriot and two military veterans.” The website proclaims that the “… coffee shop and roastery is a testament to service, community, and exceptional coffee.” In addition to treating their customers to awesome coffee drinks, the shop makes and sells the ingredients. That means their customers can enjoy their products at home!
To show customers their appreciation, the coffee shop decided to “roll out the red carpet” one day. The first gentleman in the video looked at the red carpet for a few seconds, then launched into an appropriate quick step. His co-workers followed, just watching and laughing while avoiding the red carpet. Next came a young lady, looking slightly exasperated at first. After collecting herself, she strutted her stuff like a true runway model.
