The world of television may be losing their favorite “Fixer Upper” show, but we’re gaining a new Gaines baby!
Popular HGTV hosts Chip and Joanna Gaines announced during the first episode of this season of “Fixer Upper” that they are expecting baby #5, and they couldn’t be happier (or cuter) about it!

Chip shared the news on his Instagram page via the photo above, along with the caption: “Gaines party of 7.. (If you’re still confused.. WE ARE PREGNANT)”
Prior to spilling the beans, Chip had been teasing a special announcement on Twitter, hinting that there was big news on the horizon for the Texas family we’ve come to know and love.

The couple has four kids together: Drake, 12, Ella, 11, Duke, 9, and Emmie Kay, 7. We’re not sure when Joanna is due to deliver their next bundle of joy, but she’s already got the cutest baby bump ever.

This joyful news comes on the heels of sadder news for fans of the show. The Gaineses announced in September 2017 that this season of “Fixer Upper” will be the last:
“It is with both sadness and expectation that we share the news that Season 5 of Fixer Upper will be our last. While we are confident that this is the right choice for us, it has for sure not been an easy one to come to terms with. Our family has grown up alongside yours, and we have felt you rooting us on from the other side of the screen. How bittersweet to say goodbye to the very thing that introduced us all in the first place.”
Congratulations, Gaines family! This is one lucky baby to be born into such a fun-loving family.
