Chinese Family Commits To Get Fit Together – 6 Months Later, They’re Barely Recognizable!

When you’re trying to reach a healthy weight, it’s always best if you can rally some support from your friends and family.

Jesse is a 32 year-old photographer from China, and he has recently taken to Instagram to share some outstanding before and after photographs of his family’s fitness journey that just might encourage us all to lace up those sneakers and hit the gym with our loved ones!

Jesse’s goal to whip himself and his family into shape began when Jesse’s mom decided to move in with Jesse and his pregnant wife. He then decided to invite his father to come live with them as well, creating a blended family designed to love and support their new baby to the fullest.

After Jesse’s dad moved in, it became clear that he had developed some really unhealthy habits while living on his own. He drank way too much, and had the beer belly to prove it! So Jesse approached the whole family and suggested that they get in shape together.

The family began to walk together, and eventually they upgraded to jogging. Before long, they were hitting the gym hard and tracking their progress by taking photos every ten days.

Their challenge was supposed to last six months, from March until September… but now they’re completely addicted to living an active and healthy lifestyle!

At first, they started fast-walking which gradually became jogging. Adding more and more exercise, they began going to the gym. In addition, they tracked the results by measuring their changing bodies every 10 days.

Jesse explained on Facebook that the best part of this process has not been having rock-hard abs (although that is nice!), but it’s watching his dad find his passion for life and regain the confidence he’d lost.
