Chili’s Launches A New Happy Hour Theme That’s Totally Rad

Chili's Happy Hour

Let’s face it, we’d all like to return to the good old days, right? What we wouldn’t give to meet up with Zack and Lisa at the Max for a burger and listen to Slater and Jessie argue. Shoot, we’d even listen to one of Screech’s corny jokes if it meant Kelly would take our order. Alas, those days are long gone, and instead, we’re now adults who want to do anything but adulting. Friends, we have good news. Chili’s understands the plight of us old folks, and they’re slathering on the nostalgia with a happy hour special too good to pass up. Tiffany Thiessen, yes, Kelly Kapowski, and Chili’s partnered to bring the Saved By the Bell-inspired Radical ‘Rita for May, and folks can’t wait.

Chili’s Happy Hour Looks Totally Rad

In an Instagram video, Tiffany, who looks exactly like she did 30 years ago on Saved By The Bell, sells the nostalgia. She brings us back to a time of malls, bright-colored clothes, and funky geometric shapes. During the month of May, fans can try the Radical ‘Rita at Chili’s for $6 during happy hour.

“At Chili’s, we are constantly challenging ourselves to push creative boundaries – whether that’s in the kitchen, in an advertising campaign, or in this case, behind the bar,” Jesse Johnson, Vice President of Marketing at Chili’s, said in a release. “We’ve taken a very on-trend flavor in Dragonfruit and are presenting it in a way our guests have never seen before through our $6 Margarita of the Month program – complete with a totally fresh ’90s-style ad campaign.”

Looks like Chilis’ Happy Hour is about be very busy.

A fan wrote, “Literally the first time I’ve wanted to visit a Chili’s since the 90s. Bravo, marketing team.”

“Give the marketing team a raise,” someone agreed.

“OMG OMG OMG THIS IS MARGARITA IS GOING TO BE MY WHOLE PERSONALITY,” another fan joked.

We don’t know about you, but we’re so excited.
