Céline Dion’s First New Song in Years Has Fans Crying Tears of Joy

Celine Dion New Song

When Céline Dion announced she’d return to the stage in March 2026, fans went wild. It’s been years since the diva performed in concert due to health struggles that kept her from working. Her last big public appearance was at the Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics. But she’s planning a huge return with a fall residency in Paris for ten shows beginning in September 2026. Ahead of the fall shows, Céline Dion released her first new song in years, and it sounds like a hit.

Céline Dion’s New Song is in French

People reported Céline Dion’s new song, Dansons, which translates to Let’s Dance, is a French-language track. She wrote the song with Jean-Jacques Goldman, and it shows off Céline’s incredible vocal abilities.

“It was 2020. The world was stopping and yet people were dancing, confined to their homes,” Jean-Jacques said in a news release obtained by the outlet. “Six years later, the virus is gone, but there is no need to change a word, the world isn’t spinning any more smoothly, and we are still dancing ‘above the abyss.'”

Céline Dion also dropped a music video for her new song on YouTube to her more than 10 million subscribers. Fans loved the song, no matter what language they speak.

“I know zero French, but it’s Céline Dion, so it will do. I am glad she’s back,” a fan admitted.

“Céline, your voice is always MAGNIFICENT and full of emotion that you convey to us,” another fan wrote.

Hearing Céline Dion sing her new song brought some fans to tears.

“I couldn’t hold back my tears because, for me, this song reminds us how precious life is and how we should cherish every moment with our loved ones. A song, a voice, and an artist—it’s wonderful,” a fan shared.
