Carrie Underwood Shared Her Faith on Easter Morning

Carrie Underwood unabashedly praised Jesus with the congregation on Easter morning. While she may be one of the most talented and decorated musicians on the planet, at church, she’s just like everyone else in the building. Video from the service circulated online, and while Carrie sang, it didn’t look like a concert or as if she wanted to steal all the attention. Instead, Carrie Underwood used the voice God gave her to praise and encourage others. It was truly a special moment for those in the room.

An Instagrammer named Emily shared the special moment on social media, accompanied by a loving caption.

“When Carrie Underwood sings at your Easter service,” she wrote. “Just one of those moments you don’t forget the kind that gives you chills and makes you pause for a second.”

Many commented and praised the singer.

“She was not A featured performer, she was a member of the worship team. She served in all 5 services. Selfless and real! She does not ever expect to be seen or treated differently. She is an extraordinary talent which one cannot help but notice, but she sings for an audience of ONE when at church, no doubt. The service was amazing, beginning to end!” Someone wrote.

“I teach my kids that Whitney Houston’s version of the National Anthem is the best ever, and Carrie Underwood’s How Great Thou Art is the best they will find this side of heaven,” another person shared.

Carrie Underwood’s Easter morning contribution touched those who were there to worship.

“I was there too! She’s phenomenal! It was the ultimate experience,” a comment reads.
