I hope you’re in the mood for chills! Ducote Talmage’s cover of “Sand in My Boots” on this season of The Voice is sure to give you shivers.
Ducote is a firefighter by day, but since this clip on The Voice, we know he’s really a sultry country star undercover. The Morgan Wallen tune fit his voice perfectly, and we couldn’t be more excited for him.
But we aren’t the only Ducote Talmage fans.
Once he started singing, the firefighter quickly turned two of The Voice teams: John Legend and Dan + Shay.
He ended his performance with just those judges, making for a nearly impossible decision. The judges tried to persuade Ducote Talmage, and we’re not envious of his position. I mean… how do you choose between John Legend and Dan + Shay?
Reba & Chance the Rapper gave Ducote a bit of feedback before he made his official team choice and, ultimately, he went with Dan + Shay.
That duo is sure to make Ducote Talmage a household name. This fiery firefighter is looking to be a total contender on this season of The Voice!
