Cameron Diaz Comes Out Of Retirement & Her Husband Celebrates With Rare Photo

Cameron Diaz

When Cameron Diaz left Hollywood more than a decade ago to focus on herself and other business ventures, many thought it was a mistake. Cameron hit America’s Sweetheart status with several hit movies under her belt. But as she told Variety in October 2024, she had to make the change for herself.

“Nobody’s opinion, nobody’s success, no one’s offer, no one’s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have,” Diaz added. “It really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.”

She and her husband, Benji Madden, married on January 5, 2015, in their Beverly Hills home. The couple welcomed their daughter Raddix in 2019 and son Cardinal in 2024. Now that she’s fulfilled her wish of becoming a mom and satisfied her needs, she’s back to work. She and Jamie Foxx star together in Back in Action on Netflix, which is streaming now.
