Working for the cable company is not easy. In a front-facing customer service position, a cable man may encounter eight shades of everything during a “routine” day. Customers have dogs that aren’t always restrained. Some people have birds that wander freely around the home. Kids might be running amok and getting wild in their daily play. But when the kids blindfold Nana and sends her out to play whack-a-mole, that’s a whole different can of worms… errr… pool noodles.

We’re guessing this is a reasonably regular game for this household. It’s a fun way to entertain the kids and Nana. However, someone should have told Nana when the cable man was inside working. He had been working outside when they started the game. When he came inside, no one thought to mention that to the blindfolded Nana running around whacking everything.
The cable man flinched. Nana rerouted to attack the cameraman (Dad) and then turned her pool noodle back to the cable installer. The whole time, the Dad is politely suggesting that the granddaughters tell Nana the installer was inside. What made it a little worse is that Nana is deaf, in addition to being blindfolded. She couldn’t see who she was hitting and couldn’t hear the protests from the startled serviceman.
If this were a typical grandma, she might realize she assaulted the cable man. Between profuse apologies, she would excuse herself to the kitchen. A few moments later, she would return with a plate of warm cookies for the young man. We’re unsure if Nana had cookies in the oven or if Dad sat her in time-out with the girls. Either way, everyone has a hilarious tale to tell for eternity.
