The daddy-daughter dance is one of the sweetest wedding tradition and a beautiful time for the bride and her father to share a cherished special moment together. Usually, the song has a special significance because of a memory or the lyrics of the song describe their relationship.
But this was not the case with one bride and her cool dad. Mikayla and her father Nate (aka “Nate-Daddy”) decided to throw the shackles off of a timeless tradition and give their wedding guests a surprise they will never forget. As the two danced to a slow song, the record scratched, switched to MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This” and then began an amazing fun-filled choreographed dance to an epic mashup of popular dance songs.

Mikayala and her dad pulled out a pair of sunglasses and kicked the party off in a big way! The wedding guests cheered wildly for the daddy-daughter duo’s dance moves.
You could see the joy on Nate-Daddy’s face and he tore up the dance floor with his daughter.
They danced to song after song including “Party Rock Anthem”, “Shake Your Groove Thing”, and “Bye Bye Bye”. One of the best parts is when they did Carlton Banks’ signature moves from ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air’ TV show to Tom Jones’ “It’s Not Unusual”.

Nate-Daddy has some strong advice to all fathers: “NEVER PASS UP A CHANCE TO DANCE WITH YOUR DAUGHTER!”
He said he wanted to do the awesome dance to show his new son-in-law how his daughter should be treated – like a princess.
