Burlington Revamping All 1,100 Stores To Enhance Customer Experience

Every day, the retail world changes, and customers are increasingly shopping online rather than in stores. An online shopping model is great for some people, but there are still plenty who want the brick-and-mortar shopping experience. Getting customers in the door can be a challenge, so retailers must adapt to what customers want. Burlington understands that and they’re revamping stores across the country to “enhance the customer experience.” Burlington is organizing the aisles, cleaning up the stores, and introducing a whole new feel.

According to a news release, Burlington can’t wait for customers to shop the revamped stores.

“At Burlington shoppers already know that they can find the very best values on branded apparel, footwear, beauty, accessories and home fashions, but now, our newly reimagined store layout makes their shopping experience easier, more exciting and more enjoyable”, Michael O’Sullivan, CEO of Burlington Stores, shared. “Feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive – they love finding great deals and they love shopping our newly redesigned stores.”

Burlington noted that half of all stores have already received a refresh, and the rest will be converted by 2026. Burlington wants customers to come in and see what they have to offer, so the company is giving an incentive.

“To celebrate, Burlington will host special events in 21 major markets from August 15–17, complete with sweepstakes, giveaways, and more. Customers will have the opportunity to register in-store for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize or a $250 gift card. Additionally, the first 100 customers each day at participating locations will receive a $5 bonus card,” the release noted.
