McDonald’s has been teasing its new Big Arch Burger for quite a while, and it’s caused quite a stir. The burger itself is huge, with two patties, three slices of white cheddar cheese, crispy, slivered onions, pickles, lettuce, and Big Arch Sauce, all topped with a poppy and sesame seed bun. McDonald’s Chairman and CEO Chris Kempczinski shared a video trying the Big Arch, and it got a lot of attention. Unfortunately for him, it probably wasn’t the attention he expected. Chris’ big bite turned into a big joke.

“I love this product,” Chris said. “It is so good. I’m gonna do a tasting right now, but I’m gonna eat this for my lunch, just so you know.”
“Nah homie. We saw that jump cut the split second you bit that burger. Nice try though,” someone commented.
“He acts like he’s never seen a burger before. Impressed by sesame seeds,” another person wrote.
“We couldn’t finish it either,” Burger King commented.
Burger King President Tom Curtis Poked Fun at the Big Arch Clip
McDonald’s and Burger King have a long-standing rivalry in the fast-food industry. The restaurants have playfully ribbed each other for years in ads and on social media. When it comes to the Big Arch, Burger King President Tom Curtis posted his own reaction video to taking a bite of a Whopper.
“Only one thing missing,” Tom said. “A napkin.”
Of course, Burger King fans got in the real super quick.
“That burger is 4x the size of a McDonald’s burger & 100 tastier too,” someone wrote.
“BK is the best. The burgers are licked by flames,” another person agreed.
So, are you going to try McDonald’s Big Arch or are you more of a Whopper person?
