Buckingham Palace is celebrating another royal baby! Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their third child.

On May 4th, the palace announced the joyful new in a statement reading, “Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting their third child together, due this summer.”
“August (aged 5) and Ernest (aged 2) are also very excited to have another sibling join the family,” it continued. “His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news.”
The princess and her husband also shared the update via Instagram with an adorable photo. In it, their two sons study an ultrasound photo.

“Hugest congratulations to you all!” a fan cheered. “Three is the magic number 🩵🩵🩵 another little water baby – how wonderful.”

The family news comes one day after Jack Brooksbank celebrated his 40th birthday, which his wife commemorated with a rare Instagram story. Eugenie has been largely inactive on social media for a year.
“Happy 40th my love,” she captioned. “Here’s to another 16… xx.”
Princess Eugenie and Jack said, “I do,” in 2018, after 7 years of dating. She is the youngest child of Sarah Ferguson and former Prince Andrew. Her only sibling, Princess Beatrice, 37, welcomed a baby last January.
