Brooke Shields & Daughter Rowan Reveal New, Matching Tattoos

Brooke Shields Tattoo

We love a strong mother/daughter relationship. Seeing some of our favorite celebs celebrating that bond with their girls makes our hearts happy. It’s not easy growing up as the child of a star. But when a celeb can balance their career and personal life well and become a great mom, it makes us smile. Model and actress Brooke Shields is a prime example of a fun-loving mom whose kids adore her. She and her husband, Chris Henchy, share daughters, Rowan and Greir. She loves being with her girls and often posts about their adventures on social media. Recently, Brooke Shields showed off a new tattoo that matches her daughter, Rowan. The pair stopped at East Side Ink in NYC for their latest art.

The Artist Who Did The Tattoo Didn’t Realize It Was Brooke Shields

Matteo Gutierrez posted some pics of Brooke and Rowan at his shop, along with a bit of a confession. He didn’t realize who she was. He explained, “I don’t know if you believe me, but I didn’t recognize who it was at first. It wasn’t until I finished the tattoo, and sometimes it is important not to recognize the character but to know the person.”

Matteo added that it was a day he will always remember, “Today I had the opportunity to meet both of them (they make a good team); thanks for the patience, trust, laughter, confidence, and tranquility. I will remember tattooing them, the pain of sticking the stencil a thousand times, some of the most difficult handwriting (by: Rowan) and with a photo that for me as a person and professional is very important- and for my family even more (they so admire you).”

Brooke Shields and Rowan Henchy each got a small tattoo that reads, “and to a party.”

May this always be a sweet memory for the mother-daughter team, and may they always enjoy a party together.
