Captain America Honors 6-Yr-Old Who Saved Sister From Dog Attack With Special Surprise.

Bridger Walker may not have superpowers, but he’s a hero all the same.

The 6-year-old is incredibly courageous – and an amazing big brother. Bridger adored his sister from the moment she was born and vowed to protect her from then on. Recently, he made good on that promise, putting himself in harm’s way to save the 4-year-old’s life. Thousands are hailing the boy a hero, including one of his favorite Avengers!

On July 9, Bridger and his sister were at a family friend’s house in Wyoming when they were attacked by one of their dogs. Bridger immediately stepped in front of the girl to shield her. He was bitten on his face several times and needed stitches, but thanks to him, his sister was unharmed.

Such a brave and selfless act called for recognition, so Bridger’s aunt, Nikki, shared the story on Instagram, hoping to catch the attention of his favorite on-screen superheroes. And the response was overwhelming!

Avengers and non-Avengers alike showered the little boy with praise. He received messages from Mark Ruffalo, Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Hugh Jackman, Zachary Levi, Octavia Spencer, the Russo brothers, and Robbie Amell. But one of the best came from Captain America himself!

After hearing what Bridger had done for his sister, Chris Evens sent him a personalized video message, promising to give him an authentic Captain America shield!

“Pal, you’re a hero. What you did was so brave, so selfless. Your sister is so lucky to have you as a big brother. Your parents must be so proud of you,” Evans said. “Keep being the man you are. We need people like you.”
