Jony and Alistair of New Zealand recently used their wedding reception to honor one very special guest. Jony’s mother, Luna Macapagal, has been bravely battling stage 4 ovarian cancer, so the bride and groom decided to forego a traditional Filipino dance during which wedding guests give the newlyweds cash to help them get their lives started. Instead, they invited anyone who wanted to donate money to do so, but they would in turn donate the proceeds to cancer charities!
And the lovebirds weren’t done honoring Luna yet! They decided to put something besides cash on the line: their own hair! Both Jony and Alistair sat down and shaved each other’s heads right there in the middle of the ceremony.
