One proud mom is sharing how her son taught himself a one-handed version of a typically two-handed hobby. Angela Platt posted a video to Instagram showing how Miles, who has a limb difference, learned to crochet using his hand, elbow, and feet. She explained that it was one of his goals for the summer to “try something new.” With a little help from the internet, Miles was able to get the hang of the craft in no time!
“He yet again has learned to do something I don’t even know how to do,” Angela wrote in the caption of her video. “We found out last night that at his new intermediate school, he was placed in the ‘Innovators’ group. Sounds like a pretty perfect description for our Miles!”
