Bride Shannon, wanted to do something special for her husband Rick, on her wedding day. Rather than give him a traditional present– wrapped in a box with a bow on top– she decided to give him something less tangible but still plenty memorable… A musical flash mob!
Shannon walked down the aisle to “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge and sported blue feathers in her hair, so it’s no surprise that her gift to her husband was something non-traditional! The real surprise, though, is in the presentation. Rather than flash-mobbing Rick during the reception, she asked students from the Music Depot School of Music and Performance to perform during the ceremony!
15 students sat in the pews– mixed in with 150 guests– and surprised everyone with their rendition of “Chapel of Love.” It starts out with just one little boy, but– next thing anyone knows– several young singers and musicians with guitars fill in all around the chapel.
At first, the other guests are confused, but by the end everyone is cheering! What a happy, fun surprise for this couple as they begin their lives together!
