A little boy’s reunion with his beloved stuffie is breaking our hearts in the most wonderful way.
We all remember our favorite childhood companions, whether they be a doll, a blanket, or a stuffed animal. As little people, we attach ourselves to those companions for comfort, and they feel like real best friends. So, losing one is a truly devastating experience.
One little boy lived through that trauma this fall when he left his buddy, a stuffed giraffe named “Cutie,” at an Airbnb in Paris, France. So his mom, travel influencer Hailey Outside, put out an emotional plea begging her followers to help locate the toy.
In a tearful TikTok video, Hailey explained where her little boy lost his stuffie. And she asked if anyone living in Paris could see if it was still in the rental. If it was, she hoped whoever found it would ship it to her. In a follow-up post, Hailey explained that “the response was incredible.”
After reading through dozens of messages from strangers, Hailey found someone who was able to locate the precious toy, and they shipped it to the little boy. Hailey caught the surprise reunion on camera.
Stuffie Finds His Way Home After Little Boy Loses Him in Paris
Hailey’s blonde-haired tyke had the honor of checking the mail the day that cutie made it home. He pulled the package out of his mailbox and immediately knew who was inside.
After running back to his house, the boy rips open the bag, pulls his stuffie from the packaging, and wraps his arms around it. The boy can’t stop smiling or hugging his friend, and we’re certain he’s still holding the prized aminal extra close at night.
