Impossible: 84-year-old Irma Gloria Esquivel doesn’t know the meaning of the word because there’s nothing she can’t achieve – and her latest accomplishment proves just that.
The grandmother from Nuevo León, Mexico, recently obtained her high school diploma from the Centro Bachillerato Tecnológico Agropecuario. This accomplishment proves that it’s never too late to achieve your goals!
Her proud granddaughter, Albis Davila, made sure to document this monumental moment by capturing a photo of her and some of her classmates who, as you can probably tell, are quite younger than her.
“She is an example to never give up on your goals,” wrote Albis.
Irma can now add “high school graduate” to her list of achievements, and we couldn’t be more proud for her! She is a great reminder that age is just a number and that we can always chase after our dreams. Whenever anyone tells you “it is too late” to achieve a certain goal, including yourself, just remember Irma’s story… and think again!
