Best Blooper: Reporter Mistakes Turkey Leg For Microphone In Silly Clip

Reporter accidentally uses a turkey leg for a microphone during a live broadcast.

Thanksgiving may be a few months out, but turkey legs are on the menu today. We happened upon a blooper clip that took us down the rabbit hole of the internet. The clip that started it all was a news reporter mistaking a turkey leg for her microphone.

That clip led us to the Detroit Lions’ annual Thanksgiving after-game celebration. There, they found a “deformed” turkey with at least seven legs. We all know the truth: they prepared extra legs. However, there is no mention of that as Jared Goff hands out leg after leg after leg. Sadly, not every team gets turkey legs on Thanksgiving Day.

If you sing karaoke and you don’t have a microphone, you could always use a turkey leg. The sound quality won’t be great, but you won’t be a starving artist!

In other bloopers, a young news anchor can’t stop laughing during a serious news report. Midway through the broadcast, she “coughs” several times, trying to cover for the inappropriate laughing. That created more problems, though, as her fake coughing made her laugh more.

When the news isn’t all good, it pays to have a news anchor who can laugh at themselves. At WishTV8, Lena walked into the camera frame during a live broadcast, so the entire crew poked fun at her, which is hilarious.

Laughter is the best medicine.
