Beloved Fast-Food Chain Introduces A Dollar Menu

Sonic Snacky Hour

What can you get for a $1 today? A whole lot of nothing. Even the so-called dollar stores increased nearly everything, so getting a bargain for a buck is a thing of the past. We love to tell our kids about the good old days when we could feed a family of five for $10. They don’t believe us, but we all know the truth. There was once a time when almost every fast-food restaurant had a dollar menu, but those days are long gone. Or are they? Sonic Drive-In is taking us back in time for its new Snacky Hour, and we’re ready to hit the drive-in.

Sonic’s Snacky Hour Features Menu Classics

According to The Fast Food Post, Sonic Launched Snacky Hour on August 4. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., customers can purchase a corn dog, soft pretzel twist, and 2-piece mozzarella sticks for just $1. However, that’s not all; Sonic’s Snacky Hour is even better on Mondays and Thursdays, featuring additional special offers. On Monday, customers can purchase $.99 Slushes and Thursdays, they can purchase one Footlong Quarter Pound Coney and get a second free.

Sonic’s Snacky Hour menu hit Reddit, and some people felt it wasn’t enough.

“They might as well not even have it. They had a perfectly good value menu up until a few years ago…$1.49 deluxe cheeseburger, $1 corn dogs and hot dogs, $1 cones, $1 value fries and tots, etc.” someone wrote.

But other people were all in for Sonic’s Snacky Hour.

“Those pretzel sticks are my lifeblood,” a fan wrote. “Don’t let them forget to give you the cheese!”

“The pretzels are everything to me,” another person agreed.

This fan has another suggestion for Sonic once the Snacky Hour promotion ends.

“Hoping they do 50 cent corn dogs for Halloween this year again,” they wrote.
