BBC Reporter Mobbed By Rambunctious Lemurs In Hysterical News Segment.

One of the perks of being a reporter is getting an up-close look at what’s going on in the world. That can mean accompanying a politician on a world junket, sitting down with a celebrity, or, in the case of a certain BBC reporter, getting a behind-the-scenes peek at a zoo.

Earlier this week, BBC Norfolk reporter Alex Dunlop went out on assignment at Banham Zoo in eastern England. Staff there were conducting their annual animal count to determine how many animals they have in their charge. But it’s not as easy as you’d think.

Can you count how many lemurs are involved in this mob-style attack on poor Alex?

“And I’m at one of the — OW!! OW!! You little nipper!”he cries as they bite his hands, climb up his shirt and fly back and forth across the camera.

Let’s try that again.

“And I’m at one of the region’s zoos where they’re doing their annual stock take of animals … ow! … OW!!!â€

You gotta wonder if this guy gets combat pay.

But it was all in good fun, and both Alex and the BBC later tweeted about this hilarious incident:
