In the sweet video below, a barber shop worker named Dev is sweeping the floor when he’s stopped by a coworker. “Hey Dev, look! Check the wall out!” says the man. “Who is that guy?” asks another. Dev brushes it off at first, but his coworkers insist he give the wall a closer look. “Go see, Dev! Who is that up there?”

As Dev approaches the wall, it becomes clear that someone has hung a framed photograph up there. When he looks closer at the photo he realizes something. “It’s me.” says Dev. “What does it say? Go read it, Dev!” the barbers respond, itching with excitement.
The framed photo is of Dev, and above his face are the words “Employee of the Month.”
The barber shop is called Blendmasters, and Dev– who has Down Syndrome– appears to be their very first employee of the month!
“You got employee of the month, man! You did a good job!” says one friend, giving a high-five.
“Congratulations, bro.” says another.
“Employee of the month, everyone!” announces the man filming.
All the while, Dev’s coworkers offer high fives, fist bumps, hand shakes, and congratulations. Dev genuinely thanks them, enjoying the recognition and celebrating his achievement.
