With two children already, Jayci Underwood and her husband were trying for a third. After years and years of fruitless pursuit, they finally managed to get pregnant. After celebrating, it was time for the parents to share their baby surprise with everyone else. Sitting the children down for the serious discussion, they began the notification process.

Jayci began by asking what the one thing the entire family wanted was. The kids guessed a vacation and tossed a few other things into the mix, but within seconds, both settled on “a baby.” When Jayci asked what they would say if she told them they were going to have a baby, their daughter, Quincy, was joyful, while their son, Kyle, pretended to faint.
When they realized Jayci wasn’t joking, Quincy jumped up for hugs with tears in her eyes. In typical boy fashion, Kyle wanted to see proof. As Jayci showed her still flat belly, he said, “Where is it?” By this time, Quincy was in full-blown ugly-cry mode while Kyle was examining the pregnancy test stick.
Once the kids knew, it was time to tell everyone else. Jayci’s girlfriends had to know, so they had a girls’ night out to spring the news and celebrate. Of course, there had to be a bit of pranking when it came to telling her best friend.
They did a short gender reveal video sitting in their car, with just Jayci and her husband. The surprise baby is going to be a boy, unless they get another surprise. Jayci explained a lot about their struggle to get pregnant in a video caption.
