After over a year apart, one lucky aunt finally got to meet her precious baby nephew named Finn.
Because of the pandemic, two sisters, Bailey Altick and Jenn Ward, have spent the past 13 months catching up over FaceTime and counting down the days until they could reunite. Finally, that day arrived!
“It’s crazy to think that until tonight she had never met Finn, despite spending the last 13 months helping us raise him from across the country via FaceTime,” Bailey wrote on Instagram.
Judging by Bailey’s emotional reunion with her sister, it’s clear that they had both been dreaming about this day for a long, long time.
“A year ago, my favorite nephew decided to come to Earth… What a year to be alive, am I right?” Jenn said.
Finn was just as overjoyed as his mom and auntie. When he first saw his Aunt Jenn, he smiled, raised his hands in the air, and was quick to give her a precious embrace.
“Finny – you are such a light to this world,” Jenn said. “Thank you for bringing us so much joy during a very crazy time of our lives. You gave us all purpose in 2020.”
