Iconic As The World Turns actress Eileen Fulton passed away on July 14, 2025, following a “period of declining health,” her family shared. She starred as Lisa Grimaldi on the soap for nearly 50 years from the show’s inception in 1960 until its finale in 2010. She was beloved by both fans and fellow stars who admired her longstanding commitment to the show. Many took to social media to share tributes to Eileen Fulton following her passing.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of the legendary Eileen Fulton, who died on July 14 at the age of 91. Best known for her iconic role as Lisa on As the World Turns, Eileen redefined daytime television with a fierce, groundbreaking portrayal that captivated audiences for decades, including her portrayal of the same character in her very own spin-off series,” the post reads. “Her influence stretched far beyond the soap opera world, as well. She was a gifted actress, singer, author, and trailblazer who brought complexity and glamour to every role she touched. Eileen’s legacy will forever be etched into the fabric of television history. Rest in Peace, Queen of Daytime.”
