Watching Aretha Franklin Serenade Carol King With “You Make Me Feel” Will Totally Make Your Day

Aretha Franklin has been bringing down the house since 1967. After an early career in Gospel music, Franklin broke into the mainstream with her awe-inspiring anthems.

Songs like “Respect” and “Think” still hold timeless sway with people around the world, but “(You make Me Feel) Like A Natural Woman” is timeless as they come.

Franklin performed last Tuesday at the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors broadcast. The night was held in honor of prolific songwriter Carole King, who co-wrote Franklins signature hit along with many others.

As you’ll hear in the video below, the Queen of Soul is at the top of her game… and her special surprise for King had everyone in the audience emotionally charged.

Share if Franklin’s timeless performance stirred your soul!
