Another “Reba” Star Is Joining Melissa Peterman & Reba McEntire On “Happy’s Place”

Reba McEntire Happy's Place

Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman made us laugh and sometimes cry as Reba Hart and Barbara Jean Booker Hart on Reba. Their chemistry and comedic timing worked together beautifully. They made us fall in love with two characters who loved to hate each other. Interestingly, sometimes they even loved to love each other. Reba aired for six seasons from 2001 to 2007. Sadly, when it went off the air, fans missed the women working together. It took a very long time, but Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman are back in Happy’s Place.

Reba McEntire’s New Show “Happy’s Place” Brings Together Some Familiar Faces

Happy’s Place stars Reba McEntire and Melissa Peterman, and it looks like another fan favorite, Steve Howey, who you might remember as Van Montgomery, also taped an episode. Melissa told Entertainment Tonight that even though it’s been nearly two decades since the old Reba crew is back together, it feels like “no time has passed.”

Happy’s Place is a sitcom about a woman who inherits a restaurant from her deceased father and has to share ownership with a new sister she never knew existed. Thankfully, Reba McEntire’s signature sass plays a key role in Happy’s Place, and Melissa Peterman’s inclusion as a bubbly sidekick is refreshing.

Happy’s Place premieres on October 18 on NBC, and the network shared a sneak peek on YouTube. Needless to say, Reba McEntire fans can’t wait to watch.

“I already knew I was gonna love this show,” a Reba fan wrote.

This person can’t wait. “I’m ready for Reba, Melissa, Rex, and the gang for Friday night!!!”

And of course, the super fans are in. Like this person, “I love this woman!! I’ll listen to any song she releases or any series she puts out. Reba is one of those rare talents that you already know you’ll enjoy whatever it is because you enjoy her. It’s that simple. You know what you’re getting with Reba. So yes, I’ll be watching and I’ll be a fan of it. I’m sure of that.”
