There are a lot of exciting events to look forward to during the Paris Olympics. This includes Simone Biles, of course, as she competes alongside the rest of the U.S. women’s gymnastics team. So far, she’s already off to a fantastic start! On Sunday, Biles showed off a move so difficult, only she has pulled it off in international competitions. As if that’s not impressive enough, she’s doing so with an ankle that’s been sore for a few weeks.

Still, not even that could keep her from pulling off some of the most impressive moves. In the end, she earned herself top scores in both events that day. That left her with the top score in the all-around. Fans and teammates alike couldn’t be more proud or impressed. But did you know that even cats are fans of this unparalleled athlete? The adorable proof can be found in the video below.

Before Biles can even start her routine, this adorable black cat can’t keep her eyes off the athlete. She watches intently, waiting for Biles to move. As soon as she does, this curious cat bats at the TV, seeming as though she hopes to catch her.
Curious Cat Can’t Stop Watching Simone Biles’ Olympic Performance
Cat owners can attest that many felines love watching TV. While they obviously can’t understand what’s going on, cats become captivated by all of the exciting colors and movements. It’s no wonder, then, that so many of them are obsessed with gymnasts like Biles — their movements are mesmerizing!
“Cats trying to catch gymnasts is my new favorite video category,” one fan shares in the comments, with another adding, “This is like the 6th video I’ve seen of a cat watching gymnastics, I need to know if the gymnasts know they’re so loved by kitties all over.”
